Phumula Nathi literally means “come rest with us” and this is exactly what we want our guests to do. We offer a variety of accommodation options and varying self catering units. Executive rooms have Airconditioner and mini fridge. Standard rooms have a ceiling fan, DSTV and Room Service is available. There is a restaurant and a bar for the convenience of our guests including a fully fitted Gym and a 450 seated conference/wedding facility.Phumula Nathi Motel is situated in Newcastle, a town filled with history and culture which also shares its name with 27 other towns worldwide. The town boasts scenic, well-developed hiking trails, with a variety of bird life, small game, waterfalls, indigenous forests streams and rivers. Newcastle is in the “HUB” of the sattelite towns around it, eg: Dundee, Escourt, Dannhauser, Utrecht and Vryheid, Memel and Vrede. They are all approximately 1 hour drive from the City centre. The industrial Hub of the City is in close proximity to the Motel. From Johannesburg, Standerton and Majuba, we are the first port of call – Just off the N11 glide. Phumula Nathi is small in size but heavy in personalised service.
